The 1932 Alvis 12/50 TJ in the Two-Seater & Dickey configuration represents the final evolution of the iconic Alvis 12/50 series.
Introduced in 1930, the 'TJ' series brought several refinements to the line, including a separate, taller radiator shell and coil ignition in place of the older magneto system.
Equipped with a 1,479 overhead-valve (OHV) four-cylinder engine.
The 'Two-Seater & Dickey' (also called a Tourer or Drophead Coupé with dickey) features a bench seat for two and a fold-out 'dickey' or rumble seat in the rear for occasional passengers.
It was fitted with a 4-speed manual gearbox (non-synchromesh).
Known for its balanced handling and direct steering, often using a steering box from Marles.
