This 2006 RUF Rt12 is said to have been used in a test and review by magazine at the Nürburgring Nordschleife prior to being delivered to its first owner in Miami, Florida, in February 2007.
In 2009 it was sent back to RUF in Germany for a conversion Rt12 S specification and a repaint in matte black, after which it returned to the US and remained with the original owner until 2015.
