In 2009 it was sent back to RUF in Germany for a conversion Rt12 S specification and a repaint in matte black, after which it returned to the US and remained with the original owner until 2015.

A refresh between 2018 and 2019 included a top-end rebuild of the twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six, which powers the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle...
