This 1965 Mercedes-Benz 220S was acquired by the seller in 2016 and subsequently underwent a mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment at Bud’s Benz of Douglasville, Georgia, in 2018.

The car is finished in blue over light gray vinyl upholstery and is powered by a twin-carbureted 2.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission.

Features include 13” steel wheels with covers, front disc brakes, wood interior trim, air conditioning, a refurbished Becker AM/FM radio, and an analog clock.

This Fintail is now offered with a copy of the data card, records from the refurbishment, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s spouse’s name.

The W111 was built between 1959 and 1971 and nicknamed Heckflosse, or Fintail, due to the tail fins flanking the trunk lid.
