The Mercedes 220 S Cabriolet was unveiled in the summer of 1956, with its refined design, flowing body lines and comfortable wood and leather interior.

It embodied the luxury and craftsmanship typical of Mercedes, with 3,290 examples produced in 5 years.
Based on the Ponton chassis, it is powered by a 2.2-liter in-line 6-cylinder engine developing 105 hp.

It is mated to a four-speed manual gearbox.

The result is a ride that's both supple and responsive for its time.

Its reliability and sturdiness are typical of Mercedes of this period.
Sold new in New York, our 220 S was re-imported to Germany in 1992.

It then benefited from a high-quality restoration.

Initially painted in gray with a pearl-gray interior, our cabriolet now boasts a beautiful navy-blue hue with caramel upholstery.
