This 1929 MG M-Type Midget was first sold in 1930 by the Walter M.
Murphy Motor Car Company of Pasadena, California, and is believed to be the first MG sold new in the US through a dealer.
The car later spent time in New York and Missouri before being discovered by the seller’s father in a Pennysaver advertisement in 1991.
A refurbishment was performed in the late 1990s and included repainting the car in blue and fitting a replacement 847cc inline-four.
