This 1951 Nash Statesman was restored ten years ago by the previous owner.

This is a two door model equipped with Nash’s long-serving L-head straight six and optional 3-speed manual transmission with mechanical overdrive.

Overall the car is very clean and the seller says that it has been one of the most reliable cars he has owned, adding that it will start easily in 27 degree weather after sitting for two months despite standard six volt electrics. New tires were recently fitted and the car is ready to go.

The two-tone paint scheme carries over to the interior and wheels.

Restoration included stripping the car to bare metal and repairing any needy bodywork. Chrome and stainless were also restored which the seller says are both near-show quality.

Badging and other small trim pieces are complete, and OEM steelies with hubcaps...
