Description A very beautiful and well-preserved late model P1800 shooting-brake with fuel injected 2.0 B20F engine, 4-speed manual with overdrive; charming interior; very useable; former concours winner Dating from March 1972 this rather striking Volvo P1800 ES is finished in ‘Light yellow’ and sits on its original 15in steel wheels with polished outer lips and looks very well with its distinctive shooting-brake styling and forward-thinking frameless glass rear hatch.

Under the bonnet, we find the typical fuel injected 2.0 litre B20F four-cylinder petrol engine which developed 125bhp, considered less ‘peaky’ than its carb fed sibling and more driveable.

Power went to the rear wheels via four-speed manual M41 gearbox with Laycock Overdrive in this example.

Inside, we find a comfortable 2+2 cabin with black leather faced seats, matching black carpeting, door cards and dash along with some typical wood veneer trim, manual windows and original Motorola radio/cassette player.
