Description Appealing pre-facelift Vitesse Six FHC from five-year ownership; 1.6-litre six-cylinder twin-carb engine; front disc brakes; Webasto sunroof Dating from December 1962 this handsome Michelotti-styled Triumph Vitesse Six FHC is finished in powder blue with the usual white streak down the sides and distinctive 'Chinese-eye' quad headlamp front end.
Sat on its original wheels with standard front disc brakes, the car looks well.
Under the bonnet, we find the 70bhp 1596cc six-cylinder engine fitted with twin Solex semi-downdraught carbs driving the rear wheels via four-speed manual transmission which made it good for a claimed top speed of 90mph.
Inside this pre-facelift example we find the large single dial as found in the Herald, wood dash and door cappings, two replacement front seats in cream vinyl and pull back Webasto-style sunroof.
