It was approximately the 85 th last chassis off the line.

Obviously in need of extensive re-commisioning, it was purchased by the now deceased register keeper in 2011 for £3,400, so one can assume the condition was in a similar state then.

Before this, the previous owner had cared for it since 1994, after seven other keepers, all recorded on the filed buff logbook.

Significant work during the 1990s took place, some of which is documented in the file and did include the engine being reconditioned, costing in the region of £2,000 in 1995.
