1984 Renault 5 GTL Now at No Reserve Just 22,360 miles from new; five-speed; time-warp Range topping super-mini, this 5GTL was quite the car when it was new nearly 40 years ago.

Not quite tax and MOT exempt (not long to go now), it has covered fewer than 22,360 miles from new in the hands of its four owners.

It has spent many years slumbering in a garage, which explains its low mileage and saw the light of day earlier this year since when it has had a light recommissioning.

This has included getting the brakes working, with new front discs, pads and flexi hoses.

The tank has been out, cleaned and refitted and a few electrical jobs attended to.

There are likely a few more minor jobs to do too, but getting the welding torch out isn't one of them.

Fortunately, it has been well stored and the bodywork has remained remarkably rot-free, a most unusual occurrence for a Renault of the period.
