This car is one of a few Renault 5 GTLs which were converted to electric power in 2022 to celebrate the model’s 50th anniversary, and also to be used as official shuttles at the Roland Garros tennis tournament, with which Renault had just signed a partnership agreement.

Homologated for use on the road, the R-Fit technology used for this conversion is unique in that it adheres as closely as possible to the original specification of the Renault 5.

The car thus retains its original suspension and steering, as well as its clutch and gearbox, so maintaining the impression of driving ‘the old-fashioned way’.

The battery is located at the rear and the motor develops around 30bhp, providing a range of about 80km.
