There’s only one colour scheme for a Porsche Speedster, isn’t there – and this is it: Silver with a red hood and a matching red leather interior.

Throw in the fact it’s built on a bespoke chassis and utilises modern and brand-new components, including a fuel-injected 1641cc engine, and you’ve got a modern classic that seamlessly blends iconic looks with modern performance and reliability.

This one was completed in March 2024.

Built in conjunction with the factory, Chesil supplied a painted rolling chassis, and the seller then fitted the engine, refurbished gearbox, and brakes.

He went on to install some of the interior, returning it to the factory for it to install the electrical system and wiring.

Fully finished and running well, it also features the highly appropriate numberplate ‘CH51 LYL’ and shows just 115 miles on the odometer, miles that were only incurred in order for the owner to be able to set the ECU properly.
