Additional work included re-chroming the brightwork and installing a replacement windscreen. The starter and alternator have been rebuilt, the radiator re-cored, and the fuel system refreshed with replacement pumps and lines. The water and oil pumps were rebuilt in 2020, while the carburettors were revised at the same time. The five-speed manual transmission was overhauled during the refurbishment, and the clutch assembly was replaced. The rear axle was rebuilt and fitted with a limited-slip differential, and the driveshaft U-joints were replaced. The suspension has been refreshed by installing Koni shock absorbers, and the leaf springs have been rebuilt together with the control arms and other components. Additional work includes rebuilding the power steering pump, replacing steering linkage components, and installing a black-painted stainless-steel exhaust system. The rear axle limiting straps were replaced in 2023. This all indicates the car is in excellent condition.
