Condition

7

The car is described as being in outstanding condition in a 2016 appraisal, noting its nice paintwork, perfectly aligned bumpers, and original dashboard. However, the need for a repaint and major service at Ateliers des Légendes for €17,000, along with the overhauling of the retractable headlights and battery replacement, indicate some level of wear and tear. Given the detailed service records and recent technical inspection, the car appears to be in overall solid condition with slight wear visible, so it is rated as Very Good.

The original Ghibli was equipped with a 4.7-litre V8 engine that produced around 306 horsepower.

The Ghibli SS, however, came with a 4.9-litre V8 producing around 335bhp; its top speed of 280km/h (174mph) made it - at the time - the fastest Maserati road car ever produced.

Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Carrozzeria Ghia, the Ghibli is celebrated for its striking looks, featuring a long hood, sleek lines and a low, elongated silhouette.
