First registered for the road on 12th April 1965, chassis number 'D/38' is one of the 65 highly successful Diva GTs made between 1962 and 1966.
It was the works demonstrator and was used for homologation purposes by the RAC (FIA Recognition No.
228, Group 4).
The car was first raced at Goodwood in May 1965 by Sir Jon Samuel, who continued to campaign it into 1967, sometimes sharing the driving with Mike Franey.
In 1972 the car was acquired by Scott Stallwood Racing and two years later was reacquired by Diva Cars founder, Don Sim.
It later passed into the ownership of Lotus 23B racer Mike Pendlebury, who raced it at Brands Hatch and Donington Park in 1980.

Sold to John Corfield to replace his earlier Diva that was destroyed in an accident, 'D/38' was raced extensively by Corfield in the 1980s.
