Chassis: YB1437 MOT: Exempt VIEW FURTHER PHOTOGRAPHS 1953 MG Series YB – Stylish, Elegant, and arguably one of the best MG models.
Between 1951 and 1953, MG produced these four door sports saloon cars, that featured a 1.25 litre engine and four-speed gearbox, with synchromesh on the top three ratios.
This was the last of the pre-war-style saloons from MG, offering a balance of sporty handling and practicality, with only 1,301 of these YB’s being built.
Due to a small amount of these being produced, the YB is noted for being a rare and charming sports saloon, making it a desirable classic.
And understandably so.
This is a very nice example of the desirable YB model, that has undergone a lot of work and had a lot of money spent on it.
