Austin Seven Ulster Aluminium Bodied Replica Special 1937 offered for sale.

It is a replica of a Boat Tailed Ulster using some modern parts for safety and practicality.

It is a one off and there is no other like it.

The vendor started with an Austin Seven rolling chassis, which was stripped, cleaned, strengthened, and painted.

The original cable brakes were converted to hydraulics, the drums were skimmed, and fitted with new shoes, springs and wheel cylinders.

Obviously, all new brake pipes and fittings, new master cylinder, and the hand brake was completely refurbished.

The front semi Girling axle was fully overhauled and the wheels were shot blasted and “chrome look” powder coated.

New tyres and tubes were fitted.

Rear axle is also semi Gerling and was overhauled.

The engine was sourced from an 850cc OHV Reliant, the carburettor was overhauled, and the engine fitted with a new clutch and ring gear, starter and solenoid, alternator and battery, coil, spark plug and leads, dis...
