This wonderfully quirky and rare Citroen Ami 6 was first registered in France in 1966, and then later in the Netherlands where it was restored in around 2010 by one of the country’s leading Citroen specialists.

The car then made its way to the UK around 8 years ago, and was then stored in a dry warehouse until last year when it was liberated by the current owner, who then registered the vehicle in the UK.

A recent full service has been carried out including fresh oil, 2 front wheel cylinders, refurbishment of the windscreen motor and a new battery.

Since then the car has been taken on a number of trips to the coast on sunny days, and it was recently admired at the Goodwood Members meeting.

The vendor states that the car starts first time and drives with no known faults.

Externally the condition of the bodywork is still almost blemish free and the paintwork still has a wonderful lustre.
