AI Listing Summary
This 1993 Volkswagen Golf Clipper Cabriolet is presented in Dragon Green with a black hood and beige/grey interior. It features a supporting service history, including a replacement hood, and is described as being in excellent overall condition, though the 'Not Verified' status advises caution.
Condition
7
Based on the vendor's description, the car is described as presenting very well and being in excellent overall condition, driving without fault. It has had only 4 previous owners and a documented service history. The presence of some associated invoices, including a replacement hood in 2016, suggests good maintenance. However, the mileage of 128,750 indicates some wear, and the 'Not Verified' disclaimer means the condition is based on the vendor's subjective assessment.

The vinyl or cloth tops were heavily insulated and manually - or beginning in 1991, electrically - operated, with a heated glass rear window.
The body of the Cabriolet did not change through the entire production run except for a larger fuel tank.
The space saver wheel was fitted from the outset in 1978, when pre production models were built, unlike the saloon which adopted this in 1984.
In an attempt by Volkswagen to keep the car's styling current, all Cabriolets from 1988 on were fitted with a "Clipper" kit out of the factory, featuring smooth body-coloured bumpers, ...
