This AM V8 was built at the end of 1977 and quickly exported to the United States to be sold there.

According to a copy of the Aston Martin register, it was then finished in Kentucky Blue with a light blue interior (DV.

6303) featuring blue piping (DV.

6330) and Scandinavian blue carpet.

A copy of the Car Record Card lists the equipment with reference numbers AT 35, ACA 417, 377 SKR and 437.
According to our information, the first owner lived in Los Angeles and purchased it on the 23rd of February 1979; he subsequently sold it to the second owner in June 1980, who lived in Beverly Hills.
