When Paolo Martin at Pininfarina designed the Ferrari 365 GT/4 in 1972—a model that would later become the Ferrari 400—he was showing off the full extent of his talent: the clean, taut lines are understated, elegant, and timeless, perfectly reflecting the high status of this luxury sports car.

So much so that, from the 365 GT/4 to the 412, this model enjoyed an exceptionally long production run, remaining in the brand’s lineup until 1989.
