Created from a blank sheet of paper and Renault Sport’s first-ever road car, the Spider remains a unique model in Renault's history.

At a time when the manufacturer was at the top of its game in Formula 1 with its unbeatable engines, it unveiled at the 1995 Geneva Motor Show this radical mid-engined roadster with a tubular aluminium chassis designed by Fior Technology and clothed in a basic composite body, weighing 930kg.

With only one goal in mind: the pleasure of driving, the purest of sensations.
