Presented at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, six months after the Clio Grand Tour, the Kangoo Compact Concept Car exploited the potential of the model in the area of leisure.

It drew on the world of rollerblading, through a partnership with the Rollerblade brand, which had the same values of mobility, shared experiences and the joy of life.

On a raised and shortened chassis, the Kangoo adopted a bold colour scheme, with ‘Orange Fireball’ and brushed aluminium bodywork, and had 19in wheels.

The windscreen continued into a transparent roof, making for a bright interior, which had a very design-led treatment.

The Skate Blue and grey seats combined fabric and leather trim, while the dashboard was smoothly shaped without any sharp edges and had a non-slip finish.
