This exceptional 250 SE was sold new in Paris on 9 March 1966 before moving to the Bordeaux area.

Finished in black (040G) with a red interior, it has a manual gearbox and the optional power steering.

Its service book was regularly stamped in the Mercedes dealer network until May 1985, at 57,357km.

In remarkable original condition and with 65,000km on the clock, it was bought by a collector from Luxembourg who set about restoring it with no expense spared: the body was repainted to a high standard in its original colour, the panels are perfectly aligned, and the upholstery was completely restored.

From a mechanical point of view, the engine was stripped down and overhauled, using numerous original parts, and the running gear was restored.

The Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres are from 2021 and are in near-new condition.
