The 612 Sessanta was an important car for Ferrari, as only 60 were built to celebrate the brand's 60th anniversary! Buyers were hand-picked and, to see their order through, had to prove their absolute loyalty to the brand.

Such is the case of this Sessanta's owner, Séverin Wunderman, a Belgian businessman and art-lover.

Over his lifetime, he built up an extraordinary collection around the figure of Jean Cocteau, which he donated to the Musée de Menton in 2005, having himself moved to the Château de Montfort in La Colle-sur-Loup at the end of his life.
The purchase invoice for the Ferrari, issued in Séverin's name by Pozzi in January 2008, details several additional options: Scuderia badges, electrochromic exterior mirrors, satellite anti-theft and parking sensors.
