This 993 RS is one of the 23 cars produced for the French market.

As its stamped-up service book shows, it was supplied new by Porsche’s official dealer in Rouen, which was run at the time by the racing driver Raymond Narac, on 8 November 1995.

Its first owner, a pharmacist in Normandy, decided in 1999 to trade in the car for another Porsche at Sonauto Levallois.

It was at this point that the car’s sporting career began, when it was bought by Eric Vincenot, who finished at the top of the rankings for six years in GT championships on track, thanks to the semi-official driver Jean-Marc Bachelier and to the car’s rigorous preparation by Porsche Ravé at Arpajon and Albert Hahn in Germany.
