The Bugatti EB110 was the company’s first model after it had been taken over by Romano Artioli in 1987.
Presented in September 1991 at La Défense in Paris, in the presence of Alain Delon, it owed its name to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Ettore Bugatti and revolutionized the world of supercars.
The most brilliant engineers contributed to its development: they included Paolo Stanzani, Marcello Gandini and the teams from Michelin and the Aérospatiale group.
Its 3.5-litre V12 with four turbos produced 560bhp at 8000rpm, an exceptional figure for the period.
