AI Listing Summary

This 1957 DB HBR5, a former Tour de France Auto participant (1958/1959), boasts an interesting race history. One of the last five models equipped with retractable headlights, it underwent a complete restoration between 2008 and 2011 after being found in the USA. With its eligibility for events like the Tour Auto and a reconditioned gearbox, this classic car presents a unique opportunity for enthusiasts.

Condition

7

While the car has been restored, the description highlights that the fiberglass bodywork and restored interior are in good condition, suggesting it is not in perfect, pristine condition. The examination of the underbody indicates limited driving since restoration, further reinforcing the assessment that it's been well maintained. However, it's important to note that, while restored, it may still require some minor reconditioning to bring it to a higher rating, but it's in overall solid condition.
