This Series I Land Rover is an early “lights behind the grille” example, first registered on 28th October 1949.

Receipts confirm that it has been restored to a high standard, with many reputable specialists contributing parts and expertise.

It passed 8 MoTs without advisories from 2010-17 (the latest expired in 2018) and its professionally refurbished odometer is showing 33 miles.This history file contains a large collection of invoices totalling many thousands of pounds from 2008 onwards.

One describes a comprehensive rebuild of the 1.6-litre IOE petrol engine by Cox & Turner in 2009, using “parts from several different engines”.
