While this excellent condition Ford Zephyr Zodiac MkI has been restored, little is known about the history of the rebuild as it has come from a deceased estate.

However, according to the vendor, when the leather trim and door cards were replaced some years after the rebuild, it was at very great expense.

The 2262cc six-cylinder car dates from 1954 but was reregistered in May 1982, presumably as it had fallen off the DVLA database.

Its odometer shows 46,683 miles and its last MoT expired in February 2013 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 45,492 miles.

However, as an historic vehicle, the Ford is now MoT-exempt.

It runs and drives well.

Paperwork includes the V5C, MoTs back to 2006, an original brochure, Ford cars servicing data handbook, repair charge schedule, accessories booklet and some show plaques.
