Bizzarrini, the former Ferrari engineer! This astonishing feat was achieved by Ferruccio Lamborghini, a disgruntled customer of the prancing-horse firm - and apparently one with a grudge!
The following year, faced with the success of the 350 GT, Touring asked Ferruccio Lamborghini to build two 350 GT "Spyder" prototypes to test the market: one for the Lamborghini stand, the other for Touring.
It wasn't really a success, as the experiment was never converted to production!
