*Citroën Traction 7C – 1935 Swiss registration title, in temporary importation Presented in April 1934, the first Traction Avant was included in the catalog alongside the Rosalie 8, 10 and 15 CV models.

The 7C saloon was exhibited at the Salon in October 1934, along with roadster and faux-cabriolet versions.

Its 36 hp 4-cylinder engine gave it good dynamics and enabled it to easily exceed 100 km/h.

Although the very first 7Cs resembled the 7Bs, they differed in that they had an all-skin roof and horns mounted behind small grilles in the front wings.

Better built and, above all, stronger, the 7C was fitted with a second-generation floating engine that was more pleasant to drive.

At the October 1935 Motor Show, the 7 was presented with an opening boot at the rear, and rack-and-pinion steering was added in the spring of 1936.

Now a brilliant, consistent car, the 7C became extremely popular and remained in production until 1940.
