First presented in March 1934 as a sedan in front of the most important Citroën dealerships, the “7” quickly saw its range expand with two other versions, named by Citroën Faux-Cabriolet and Roadster.

The Traction Avant is the work of the Italian sculptor Flaminio Bertoni and was a worldwide success.

The cabriolet responds to the comfort of this type of bodywork rather than the spartan character of a real roadster.

It can accommodate two additional people at the back.

It is an extremely attractive car because it combines all the driving qualities of the Traction with a very pure line and a higher level of comfort than the sedan.

The appeal of the Traction convertible has resulted in the production of replicas, making authentic versions rare and sought after, like the one we are interested in today.
