Started in 1939, the production of the Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 is in the continuity of the know-how and Italian automotive spirit thanks to talented engineers, including the famous Vittorio Jano, but also to body builders as famous as Farina, Touring, Zagato, Ghia and Castagna.

Available in several versions ranging from luxurious 5-seater sedans and 6/7-seater limousines to sportier models, sedans, cabriolets and spiders, the 6C 2500 proved to be extremely versatile at the time, winning prizes in the most prestigious elegance competitions as well as road and track events.

The Alfa-Romeo 6C 2500 Sport Freccia d’Oro (Golden Arrow) was the first post-war car built and marketed by the Milanese firm.

The attach - ment system of its bodywork was modified.

It is no longer bolted, but welded to the frame rails.
