Wanderer, a German car maker, started in 1896. Initially, they produced bicycles, then later motorcycles.
By 1913, Wanderer moved into car production.
During the 1930s, Wanderer became part of Auto Union.
Did you know Wanderer used a unique "swing axle" rear suspension in some models? It improved handling, but was tricky to get right.
