Tell Me More

Tecno F3 cars emerged in the early 1960s, quickly becoming a force in Formula 3. Founded by brothers Gianfranco and Luciano Pederzani, Tecno initially focused on karting before transitioning to single-seaters.

Their early success stemmed from innovative designs and a strong driver lineup. Tecno secured numerous victories and championships in the late 1960s and early 1970s, solidifying their reputation.

Tecno faced financial difficulties and eventually withdrew from racing in the mid-1970s. There isn't a direct successor model.

A little-known story: In 1968, at a race in Monaco, Tecno nearly didn't compete. Their truck broke down miles from the track. Gianfranco Pederzani, resourceful as ever, convinced a local farmer to tow the car with his tractor, arriving just in time for qualifying.
