Tecno, an Italian chassis constructor, emerged in the early 1960s, founded by brothers Gianfranco and Luciano Pederzani.
Initially focused on kart racing, Tecno achieved considerable success, dominating the karting scene.
They ventured into Formula racing, building Formula Three and Formula Two cars.
Tecno entered Formula One in 1972, but their F1 efforts were short-lived and unsuccessful.
A little-known fact: Tecno briefly explored a partnership with Ferrari in the early 1970s. Ferrari considered using Tecno's chassis expertise, but the deal never materialized.
