The Macho Trans Am was a modified Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, sold in the late 1970s. It was not a factory Pontiac model. Instead, it was the brainchild of the brothers Dennis and Kyle Mecham, owners of a Pontiac dealership in Glendale, Arizona.
The Mecham brothers aimed to enhance the Trans Am's performance and appearance. They contracted with local shops to modify the cars.
