Panoz, an American sports car manufacturer, was founded in 1989 by Don Panoz.
Panoz quickly made a name for itself with the AIV Roadster, a lightweight sports car featuring an aluminum chassis and body.
The company gained prominence in motorsports, particularly in endurance racing.
Panoz developed the Esperante GTR-1, which competed at Le Mans.
Did you know Panoz was the first American manufacturer to win a major international GT race with a front-engine car since the 1960s? It happened at Road Atlanta in 1998.
