Kissel, a luxury car, was produced from 1906-1930 in Hartford, Wisconsin.
The "Gold Bug" speedster became Kissel's iconic model.
A little-known fact: Amelia Earhart owned a Kissel Speedster, customized to her specifications. It had special compartments for her maps and tools. She affectionately called it her "Yellow Peril."
