The Jaguar E-Type Lightweight Continuation was born from Jaguar's 1963 project to create a racing version of the E-Type. Only 12 of the intended 18 cars were built.
In 2014, Jaguar decided to complete the original plan, building the remaining six Lightweights. These cars were hand-built to the original 1963 specification.
Each car was given the original chassis numbers that were allocated in 1963.
There is no direct successor to the E-Type Lightweight Continuation.
