Iso, an Italian car maker, began as a refrigerator manufacturer during the pre-WWII era.
After the war, Iso shifted to scooters and motorcycles.
In the 1950s, Renzo Rivolta created the Iso Rivolta GT cars.
These cars combined Italian design with American engines.
A little-known fact: Iso once built Formula One cars. In 1973, they partnered with Frank Williams Racing Cars. The result was the Iso-Marlboro IR, driven in several Grand Prix races.
