Hispano-Suiza, a Spanish automotive and engineering firm, was founded in 1904. It was known for luxury cars and aviation engines.
During World War I, Hispano-Suiza focused on aircraft engines. Post-war, it returned to luxury car production, with models like the H6.
A lesser-known fact: during the 1930s, Hispano-Suiza designed and produced a powerful 12.7mm machine gun, used by French forces in World War II.
