The Sunbeam Tiger Mk I, a British sports car, emerged from a collaboration between Rootes Group and Carroll Shelby in the 1960s. Rootes desired a performance car, and Shelby, known for the Cobra, was contracted to fit a Ford V8 engine into the Sunbeam Alpine chassis.
