Founded in 1982 by John Watson in South Africa, Named Birkin Sports Cars in honor of his Uncle Tim Birkin a racing driver and member of the original Bentley Boys.
The Birkin S3 was a reproduction of the Lotus 7 and produced under licence either as a factory built car or as a kit car supplied through the Lotus dealer network.
This very late example was completed in 2023 believed to be the last UK supplied kit.
Fitted with a Toyota 4A-GE twin cam engine independant bike carburettors.
Built by the current owner and showing only 1 keeper and only 805 miles since completion.
Sold with MOT till March 2027 and with a large history file of receipts for servicing and the build as well as other documents relating to the build and photos taken during the build process.
