This 1962 Triumph TR4, sold for £11,256, features a 2.1-litre engine, manual transmission, and ~78,542 miles. The Triumph TR4 was first introduced in 1961, with production continuing until 1965.

It was based on the chassis and drivetrain of its predecessor, the TR3, but was significantly res-tyled and modernised by the one and only Giovanni Michelotti.

Modern features such as roll-up windows - in place of the previous side screens - were introduced, and the more angular rear end increased boot space considerably.

The car is powered by the standard pushrod inline-four engine, with a capacity of 2.1L.

This example comes to market after just over five and a half years of ownership, during which time it has been used sparingly for short weekend breaks.

The car was imported to the UK in 1992 and fully restored in 1998.

If you are in the market for an open-top classic to use and enjoy this summer, this car is well worth considering.
