The Ford Racing Puma was a limited edition car, with only 500 units ever being built.
Beginning life as a standard 1.7L Ford Puma engineered and assembled in Germany, they were then shipped over the UK where they were stripped down and rebuilt by Tickfords, to create the 155bhp Racing Puma we know and love.
These modifications included wider track both front and rear, Alcon 4 pot racing brakes front and rear, lightweight wheels, stiffer suspension, a more free flowing exhaust, and finally some light engine work to elicit 155bhp from the naturally aspirated 1.7L engine.
Suspected to be fewer than 300 left on the road, this particular example is production No.207 and comes to market from current owner Trevor, with recent major works including cambelt, water pump, and a major engine and gearbox service.
