According to the history report on file from the Maranello Concessionaires archive, their order S/083 of 10/04/1979 was for a car commissioned by dealer Huxford of Fareham, finished in Blu Sera over blue hides and carpets and a front spoiler.
The order was later changed to Verde Pino Metallizzato 106-G-30 over Sabbia hides and Corda carpets, air conditioning and flashing front fog lamps.
This chassis was first registered VPO 1T to a Mr Woolley, then Chairman of Ford dealership group Hendy-Lennox; today the car wears the same registration.
The car went through four further owners and a colour change to red prior to Eddie Walsh’s acquisition in 1995, with a Polaroid photo on file of the car from this period outside his premises.
