AI Listing Summary

This 2004 Mercedes-Benz C55 AMG, imported from Japan and with low mileage, presents well with excellent paint and a well-preserved interior, reflecting careful ownership. Despite a few minor cosmetic flaws typical for its age, it boasts a strong mechanical record and a desirable V8 engine, making it a discrete performance option.

Condition

7

The car is in very good condition overall, with minor wear visible on the paint and wheels. The interior presents very well for its age. Some minor cosmetic imperfections like light scratches, a scuff to the front bumper, a scratch on the nearside front door, a dent on the offside rear door, and chips on the driver's door are present. The headlamps are slightly opaque and the tilt 'n' slide sunroof sits a bit low. Mechanically, it has been well-maintained with recent services and repairs addressing advisories. It requires minor reconditioning, such as a professional machine polish for paint imperfections and restoration of the headlamps.

Thought to be one of just three finished in this colour and specification and the last of his small collection of Mercedes-Benz motorcars to be sold, it was David’s “pride and joy”.

As you’d expect of a car with a clear UK HPI report and just two registered keepers since it arrived here from Japan, it presents well with tight and consistent shutlines – and it’s worth reminding ourselves that no one did panel alignment better than Mercedes at the...
