The Boxster we have here today is the 987 S variant and, being a 2007 model year car, that means it is packing the 3.4-litre M97/21 engine and therefore has a very useful 295 bhp at its disposal.
It has had just two previous owners from new and was the welcome recipient of a major service 2,000 miles ago.
Mechanically and dynamically, the car seems to be in decent order, and it starts, goes, handles, performs and stops with all the competence and capability you might expect from the marque and the model.
Cosmetically, it is showing its 19 years of life and 160,000 miles of use rather more visibly, and the car would no doubt thank its next owner for a decent machine polish and some other aesthetic remedial work here and there.
Save for a dent above the n/s/f wheel arch and a couple of other very minor examples, dinks, creases, dimples and other aberrant indentations are few and far between on this car.
